Fits perfectly, comes down to her tail so her entire back is kept warm. Easy on and off! We haven’t used it yet but now she’s ready for fall walksThis jacket looks extremely cute on my dog. (See photo.) It clearly keeps him warm as I felt his back after being outside in the cold January weather and I could feel the warmth coming off his back. It is easier to put on the dog than some other coats I looked at in the pet shops because this one opens up almost flat and you can close the velcro straps around the neck and front paws without much difficulty. Beware: the sizing is very small. My mixed breed is about 40 pounds and he is wearing an X-large that just barely fits. I need to put his harness and leash over the coat, rather than under, just so it will fit. Buy at least 2 sizes larger than what the product sizing chart recommends.I have a Australian shepherd and while he doesn’t necessarily need a jacket it does get really cold in oregon come the winter time so I wanted to have a jacket for him just incase for the nights it gets into the low 30’s-20’s. I can tell when he gets cold because he refuses to move and he normally loves being outside. He has to wear boots in the cold to keep his feet more comfortable so I figured a light jacket would be good too. I was happy to find a quilted jacket that didn’t have a fluffy lining because he gets shocked just from rubbing on blankets sometimes. I ended up ordering the largest size because he needed the length however the girth was waaaaay off.I wanted a chest piece to keep his chest/belly warm because that’s the only place where his hair is super sparse and he gets very cold there. Hes a long boy but really lean so it’s always hard to find things that fit him correctly. I ended up having to glue an extra strip of Velcro on to keep it from hanging. I tried to leave it just as is but he peed on the inside of the coat because it hung so low. After adding the extra Velcro it fits a lot better. Wish tit was more adjustable but other than that I think it’s a great light weight coat for longer coat dogs without making them overheat. I would not recommend for short haired dogs though. It’s not thick enough or warm enough for them unless they were just wearing it inside.I bought the jacket for a dog I walk at the shelter. He's very excited to get out so it can take some time to get him into the jacket as it has three velcro pads you have to loop under and attach. I wish it would have had 4 velcro points, one area that look like it is velco but isn't may make you try to tug on it. I had to sew this area back as it wasn't meant to open. The dog likes it and easy to run around it, though he likes to roll in it and can sometimes get it off. but he's just excited to get out of his kennel.I bought this coat for my small Shih Tzu, Suki. I had left her old coat in my condo in North Carolina. While I'm planning on returning, it has been too cold here to wait! First, I received the item in two days; it was welcome as the weather has been very cold. I liked her old coat very much, and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a good replacement. Well- this one is even better! First, I like the collar area. It has a thick, woven material around the collar area; stopping the cold air from getting in. Also, there is a wide belly band (at least that's what we horse folk call that which wraps the belly), keeping that part warm too. There is also a zipper at the back to accommodate the snap on a harness. Further, the design is such that it is easy to put on and take off. Last but not least, the measurements to figure size were spot on! For her sweater from another place, she took a medium, but I paid attention to the size chart they provided and she was a small- perfect.It’s a nice coat. The fabric feels high quality. But after a couple weeks of light use one strip of Velcro popped a seam. I was able to repair it but it was annoying to have to fix it after only a few uses. It washes well though.No matter how we tried we just couldn't seem to find a dog coat that was easy to put on and still fit well until we found these! They were either too short, too small for use under a halter and the openings for the leash loops were in the wrong place. This jacket solves all those issues. It easy to put on, has a two way zipper for a harness and a stitched button hole for a collar as well. It is fastened with velcro around the neck and under the belly which is gathered so that it can be fastened secure and fits well to keep our boys warm. The colors are as you see them. We purchased one as a test of quality and then bought another. When we pick them up our pups get so excited, they know that an adventure is ahead!Very happy with this purchase. The jacket is easy to put on, and I appreciate the zippered slot in the back for the leash to attach (many jackets lack this feature). The design is great! Looks good, and includes some reflective parts, which is handy for dark fall or winter walks. I also like the design of the part that goes around the dog's belly: it offers more coverage than other jackets, and I find this really helps to keep my dog drier and cleaner.The only downside was the sizing. I followed the measurements and it pointed me towards a small. My dog wasn't "in between" sizes, so I thought it was OK. It technically fit, but it was so snug that my pup refused to move! I gave it to a friend with a smaller dog and bought the medium, which was a much better fit. Order a size up if you are anywhere close to the end of the sizing range.We were really worried about sizing after many reviews but for our English springer spaniel, the 2XL is perfect. The quality is pretty good! Perfect for the cold weather here in Ontario. Juno for reference is: 45pounds, length 60, girth 64, neck 40. Docking one star because of long shipping times. Hope this helps the future buyers!Really like the jacket, it is high quality, finishes feel like it's made for people. It's very comfy and the red is a nice colour. My dog doesn't mind it and it doesn't impact him going to the bathroom. The Velcro is fur friendly. My dog is very fluffly, so the large fit him perfectly. Just wanted to recommend to check the sizes, my 17 lb Pomeranian was a size large.The packaging was also minimal which is always great.Firstly, this product must be shipped in from China because it took several weeks to arrive.Also, the size was off even though I measured according to their instructions. Why can't they correct their chart to get better ratings all round? Are the dogs in China smaller than North American dogs?Also, I've seen much better jackets at local stores. There is no need to through the hassle with this one.I chose size based on my dog's chest measurement, but the openings for front legs were too tight, everything else was much too big. Only thing that did fit was around the largest part of dog's chest. When she tried to walk in it, it just twisted up around her because everything was too loose. Just not the right fit for my dog
