If you don't mind a whole lot of frustration...then you can eventually get some great looking/tasting ice out to use. That being said, no matter how careful you are, the rubber tray is nearly impossible to break free from the supporting chassis when frozen. This product could use some modifications.Please avoid. Buy a better one with a hard outer shell. This flexed and leaked at three corners.You cannot remove ice without braking something. I saw reviews that said this was an issue, so I tried to be careful. Still broke something.
